How it works

ManyChat's killer feature

When a user comments on one of your posts, Many can reply publicly under the comment and DM the user — turning attention into 1:1 conversation. The bot's DM uses the comment as opt-in (Meta's policy allows this).

  1. Build a flow with a Comment keyword trigger.
  2. Add Public reply node(s) for the under-comment text.
  3. Add DM reply node(s) for the private follow-up.
  4. Publish. Every matching comment runs the flow.

Facebook Page comments

Uses your existing Facebook Page binding. Subscribes to the feed webhook field.

Compliance

Meta has rate limits for public-reply automation. Many caps replies per minute per post and surfaces Meta's errors verbatim. Out-of-window DM follow-ups are allowed only when seeded by a comment, never from a stale subscriber.
